You will need: 1 small sauce pan with lid or 1 small non-stick pan, oil

Hotdog can be fried on a pan OR boiled in a small sauce pan, as preferred.

BOILING

Place the hot dogs into a small saucepan and cover with water. Boil for 4-6 min until the internal temperature reaches 75°C/165°F.

FRYING

Heat oil in a small pan. Fry the hot dog for 3-5 min until the internal temperature reaches 75°C/165°F.

The Best Part - Snacks!

While the hot dog is cooking, wash your fruits and veggies and cut them however your kids like (halves, sticks, stars, whatever you have time for), add the treat and write your note with love.

Finishing Touches

When the hot dog is heated through, use tongs or fork to place it on a paper towel to dry off before placing it into the bun.

Include the sliced pickle and mayo on the hot dog or on the side. You know your kids best!

Include ketchup and mustard packets, as desired (pre-cut the corners if needed).

Don't forget to include the side of pretzels for a yummy crunch!
